Boy Scout Troop 870 is located in Beaverton, Oregon. We were founded in 1967 and are sponsored by the Beaverton Optimists Club.  We have about 50 active scouts divided into six patrols and over 40 active adults.

The fundamental goal of Troop 870 is to build the character, citizenship and leadership skills of Troop 870’s Scouts in a safe and fun environment through the use of the Boy Scout program.

Troop 870 is active year round with a wide range of activities including summer camp, high-adventure, and service projects. See our Troop Calendar for more information.

Troop meetings are on Mondays at 7:00 PM at Mountain View Middle School except for the first Monday of each month which is the Patrol Leader Council meeting.
