Boy Scout Troop 870 is located in Beaverton, Oregon.  We were founded in 1967 and are sponsored by the Beaverton Optimists Club.  We have about 40 active scouts divided into five patrols and over 30 active adults.

The fundamental goal of Troop 870 is to provide a program which helps build the character, citizenship and leadership skills of Troop 870’s Scouts in a safe and fun environment.

Troop 870 is active year round with a wide range of activities including summer camp, high-adventure, and service projects. See our Troop Calendar for more information.

Troop meetings are on Mondays at 7:00 PM at Mountain View Middle School except for the first Monday of each month which is the Patrol Leader Council meeting.
